MONROE - The City of Monroe Street Department is reminding residents that Friday, Sept. 20 will be the deadline to swap garbage cart sizes free of charge.
After Sept. 20, there will be a $20 fee for the street and sanitation department to swap garbage cart sizes. There will be no charge to swap recycle cart sizes. The only exception to the charge moving forward will be for a change of residence at a home or rental unit.
