MONROE - The Wisconsin Association of Free and Charitable Clinics will offer area residents free assistance in signing up for health insurance in November and December.

Green County assistance will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 4 and 18 and Dec. 2 at the Monroe Public Library, 925 16th Ave. Lafayette County assistance will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 8 and 15 and Dec. 6 and 13 at the Darlington library, 131 East Catherine Street.

Appointments are preferred but walk-ins will be accepted. Appointments can be made via CoveringWI.org or by calling 608-331-0574.

The Wisconsin Association of Free and Charitable Clinics is a part of the Wisconsin Navigator Collaborative, overseen by Covering Wisconsin, the state's largest federally certified and state-licensed navigator agency. Navigators are unbiased individuals or organizations that are trained and able to help consumers, small businesses and their employees look for health coverage options through the marketplace, including completing eligibility and enrollment forms.
