MONROE - The Green County Sheriff's Department reported five traffic crashes Sunday due to foggy conditions in the county.
Three people were injured in a one-vehicle accident around 12:30 p.m. in the N7700 block of Wisconsin 104. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Jamie L. Rindy, 30, Fitchburg, was traveling west on County C, failed to stop at a stop sign and hit a tree. Rindy and two passengers, Charlie B. Rindy, 16, and Owen J. Rindy, 3, sustained minor injuries but declined medical attention. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.
One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 1:15 p.m. in the N1300 block of Wis. 69 near County B. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Deanna J. Cheeney, 41, swerved to avoid a semi and went into a ditch. The vehicle received minor damage. Cheeney sustained minor injuries but declined medical attention. The vehicle was towed. The semi was not located.

Hageman, 39, Verona, was stopped at a traffic light. Behind the truck was a vehicle driven by Amanda J. Zuber, 26, Brooklyn. Zuber's vehicle was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by Thomas E. York, 34, Belleville, and pushed into the back of the truck. Zuber's vehicle received extensive damage. York's vehicle received moderate damage.

Matson, 33, Edgerton, failed to stop at a stop sign, traveled across the road, hit a road sign and went into a field. The vehicle received minor damage. Matson was arrested for possession of a switchblade knife and a warrant issued by the Albany Police Department and was cited for driving after suspension and driving too fast for conditions.
