MONROE - The National Weather Service issued flood watches Sunday for southern Wisconsin - a day after thunderstorms knocked out power to some areas and caused damage in Manitowoc County.
The threat of flooding is expected to continue into this morning, April 14 for Green and Lafayette counties.
The National Weather Service advises that residents monitor forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Saturday storms tore a roof of an elementary school in the Town of Cleveland in Manitowoc County. There were also reports of trees and power lines down, and a garage was blown off its foundation.
