MONROE - Flags have been lowered to half-staff until sunset today statewide after a Wisconsin soldier was killed in Iraq.
Sgt. Brian Naseman, Racine, was killed May 21 in Taji, Iraq.
Flags at Wisconsin National Guard armories, air bases and other facilities were ordered lowered by an executive order signed by Gov. Jim Doyle.
Naseman was a member of the 108th Forward Support Company, attached to the 2nd Battalion, 127th Infantry, 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Wisconsin Army National Guard, according to a news release issued by the Wisconsin National Guard.
