Fish supper to benefit community projects

ARGYLE - The 74th annual Argyle Fish Supper is from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 29 in front of the firehouse.

The menu includes deep fried fish, french fries, coleslaw and all the trimmings. The Rowe Brothers Band will perform during the supper. Profits from the event will be used in the community for improvement projects.

The 22nd annual Argyle Duck Races will begin at 2 p.m. The race begins at Steve's Garage and will finish at the Robert Wenger boat landing. Prizes will be awarded.

Starting at 8 a.m., the 11th annual Golf Classic will be played at Yellowstone Golf Course.

The Argyle Lion's Club and Argyle American Legion annual run is set for 11 a.m. All cars, motorcycles and trucks can participate in the event, which will leave Good Fellas. Maps will be available the day of the event. Drawing for cash prizes will take place at the end of the run.
