ALBANY - The Albany and Brooklyn fire departments were called to a shed fire at about 8 a.m. Thursday on Attica Road north of Albany.
Albany Fire Chief Dan Miller said the metal on the building was "glowing orange" by the time he arrived, and was "coming down" by the time the engine arrived.
The shed was destroyed. Lost in the fire were a 4-wheel-drive tractor, back hoe, grain truck, bobcat, personal pickup, as well as an unknown amount of tools and equipment. Cost of the damage is unknown.
Firefighters were on the scene for about four hours. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
