Finance committee to host public hearing in Platteville April 3

PLATTEVILLE - The Wisconsin legislature's Joint Finance Committee will host one of its six public hearings at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville on April 3. The hearing will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Ullsvik Hall.

Attendees will be able to testify in person, submit written testimony or attend just to listen. Those who would like to speak should plan to arrive early in the day and complete a hearing slip, which are at the entry of the room. Those wishing to testify will be given approximately 3 minutes in the order in which their slips are given to hearing staff. Depending on the attendance, wait times may be long.

To provide written testimony, share one copy with the hearing staff and it will be delivered to all members of the committee electronically.

Additional hearings planned are April 5 at State Fair Park, Milwaukee; April 7 at Berlin High School; April 18 at Spooner High School; April 19 at Ellsworth High School; and April 21 at Marinette High School.
