DARLINGTON - Timmy J. Reichling, accused of child sexploitation and possession of several million images of child porn, did not appear in Lafayette County Circuit Court Wednesday due to pending federal charges in the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Reichling will face local charges in September.

The decision to set a date for a scheduling conference in Lafayette County on Sept. 24 will allow for the federal charges against Reichling to be ironed out before he faces trial in Darlington.

Reichling, 47, Darlington, remains incarcerated and could face up to 255 years of prison time if convicted for the maximum penalty of three Class C felony counts of child sexploitation, three Class I felony counts of being a registered sex offender photographing a minor without consent and five Class D felony counts of possessing child pornography.

Reichling posed on Facebook as a teenage man and solicited at least one Darlington girl for hundreds of explicit photos and videos according to the criminal complaint. He was arrested on Aug. 22 after police and state agents searched his trailer home on County F and found several million images of child porn on hard drives, thumb drives and in videos.

His bond has been held over and was set at $1 million in August to prevent him from getting out of jail. Reichling has a previous conviction by a jury in 1993 for three Class C felony counts of second-degree sexual assault with use of force and a Class E felony count of false imprisonment.

According to court records Reichling threatened the victim saying he would send naked photos of her to her friends and family if she stopped taking and sending photos to him. While posing over Facebook as a boy dubbed "Nathan Solman" he demanded up to 20 photos per night from the victim.

His next court date will pass the one-year mark since Reichling's arrest on Aug. 22.
