MONROE - Green County Farm Bureau will hold its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at the Ludlow Mansion Peppercorn Banquets.
Guest speakers will include Ben Brancel, secretary of the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, and Kristin Olson, Wisconsin's 66th Alice in Dairyland.
The meeting is open to all Farm Bureau members. During the meeting, members will help create policy resolutions and vote in elections for county board directors, as well as selecting Green County's voting delegates for the Wisconsin Farm Bureau annual meeting from Dec. 7 through 9 in Wisconsin Dells.
This fall, Farm Bureau members across the state will be forwarding resolutions on a variety of issues regarding agriculture, road weight limits, technical colleges, groundwater, invasive species, sustainability and Wisconsin's state budget.
