MONROE - The ninth annual Green County Fall Nationals Truck and Tractor Pull will bring tractor- and truck-pulling circuit to the Green County Fairgrounds from noon to about 7 p.m. Sept. 26.
The organization is expecting to draw tractor pullers from more than 10 states. GCFN is planning to donate proceeds back to the community.
The Charm School Rejects will perform for a second year, from 8 p.m. to midnight, rain or shine. In case of rain for the tractor pull, tickets purchased will be honored in 2016.
Truck and tractor classes include Limited Pro Stock, 4x4 2.6 Diesel trucks, Super Farm, Light Limited Super Stock, Unlimited Alcohol Super Stock, 640 Pro Farm, Pro Stocks, 466 Hot Farm and TWD Mod Trucks.
There will be free parking and camping available on the grounds. There will be a $5 charge for pit area parking.
Tickets will be available before the event. Advance ticket prices will include the pull, band admission and a chance to win more than 40 prizes valued at more than $10,000. Tickets purchased the day of the pull will not be entered in the drawing, and the band will be an additional $5.
