My year as Green County Fairest of the Fair is quickly coming to the end and this experience has been so amazing.

It has been the time in my life that I will never forget. I have grown in so many ways, and I have made so many new friends. I am so grateful to the Green County Fair Association for providing this opportunity.

I had the chance to give back to the Green County Fair and that felt so wonderful because the fair has given so many of us involved in 4-H and FFA a chance to learn and grow.

I enjoyed and learned so many new things like the rope-pulling competition. I never knew there was such a thing and to make things even more interesting, I learned that my dad was a rope-puller too. I learned how to auction items as well, but I think I better stick to my day job. I also learned so many new things at the Wisconsin State Fairest of the Fair competition.

I was able to meet some wonderful people and make new friends while improving my public speaking skills and business etiquette. I thank Julene Elmer, Theresa Wyss, and the Green County Fair board members for being there for me and making this an amazing and memorable year. Mahlkuch Electric showed their generosity again this year by sponsoring the Fairest program.

But alas, everything good must come to an end, so I am on another journey, and that is to find the new Green County Fairest of the Fair. If you love the fair than this is your chance to show your passion for it.
