Extra bag allowed for Wednesday garbage pickup

MONROE - Customers in the City of Monroe who did not have their garbage and recyclables picked up last Wednesday (Feb. 6) due to the snowstorm will be allowed to put out two bags of trash at no cost this Wednesday (Feb. 13) instead of one. The Times erroneously reported on Friday that the allowance was for Tuesday's customers. There were no disruptions or changes to Tuesday pickups. The Times regrets the error.
