MONROE - The City of Monroe Public Safety Committee on Monday authorized Police Chief Fred Kelley to extend the all-terrain vehicle route to the north on the west side of the city.
The extension will cross Wisconsin 69 and follow Eighth Avenue, allowing riders access to motels, stores and fast-food restaurants.
The Green County ATV Club requested the extension. Bob Voegeli, club president, said the group would discuss supplying signage at its meeting Tuesday.
