Evers to face Pridemore in public debate

DARLINGTON - Incumbent Dr. Tony Evers will face Rep. Don Pridemore during the superintendent of public instruction race in the April 3 election, and area residents will have the opportunity to hear the candidates before the election.

The University of Wisconsin Extension will hold a debate at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 5 at Bridges Restaurant, 201 Christensen Drive.

Pridemore worked in electrical engineering until he was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2004. Evers was elected Wisconsin State Superintendent of Public Instruction in April 2009.

Refreshments will be available for purchase throughout the forum.
