MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 11:15 a.m. Friday at 11th Street and 18th Avenue.
Police report a 2000 Chevrolet driven by Bruce R. Jorgenson, 40, Monroe, turned into the path of a truck driven by Jon P. Rufenacht, 65, Monroe.
A passenger in Jorgenson's vehicle, Rebecca L. Nelson, 15, Monticello, was extricated from the vehicle. She was taken to Monroe Clinic by Green County Emergency Medical Services.
Jorgenson's vehicle received extensive damage while Rufenacht's vehicle received moderate damage. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
The Monroe Fire Department assisted at the scene.
