MONROE - A New Glarus man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl was sentenced Tuesday to one year probation.

Evan Riley Dorn, 20, was found guilty of a Class A misdemeanor charge of having sex with a child over 16 after pleading no contest to the charge. Dorn was also fined $443 in court fees.

If Dorn does not meet conditions of his probation, he could face 60 days in jail.

Two Class G felony charges of third-degree sexual assault and two Class I felony charges of exposing genitals to a child were dismissed.

The charge stemmed from an incident in March of 2015 when the victim reported Dorn had inappropriately touched her in his vehicle while parked at a truck stop on County N. Dorn then initiated sexual contact without her consent.

The victim claimed Dorn assaulted her at least three times during the incident. Dorn argued that the victim had initiated the contact.
