• Green Haven provides support and services to over 600 people.
• Domestic violence and sexual assault are the most under-reported crimes.
• Green Haven provides emergency shelter to over 25 women and families.
• Everyday, a family is affected by domestic violence.
The group also reports that every year across Wisconsin:
• An average of 1,560 people request domestic violence assistance.
• 696 domestic violence victims seek emergency shelter.
• $211,000 is spent on health costs directly related to domestic violence.
• There are 263 unmet requests for domestic violence assistance, due to a lack of funding and staffing.
