MONROE - The Fowler Dental Clinic received a grant from the Jane Lysaght Memorial Fund to support the recent clinic expansion. The Lysaght fund, established in 1919 to assist poor and needy residents of Monroe , is a component of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin Inc.

The clinic received $2,000. The clinic used the grant for the final stage of the clinic expansion.

The Fowler Dental Clinic expanded to four dental chairs allowing the volunteer dentists, hygienists and other dental professionals to increase the number of patient services during clinic hours.

The Lysaght grant was specifically used to implement computerized radiography, eliminating additional appointments at outside dental clinics for X-ray services.

The Fowler Dental Clinic provides free dental care to underserved Green County children ages 1 to 12 and is located in the Green County Health Department, N3150 Wisconsin 81.
