TOWN OF MAGNOLIA — On December 26, 2025, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a welfare check in the 2300 block of N. Marsh Rd., Town of Magnolia, County of Rock. 

“Deputies arrived on scene and received no answer at the residence,” said Captain Matthew Jacobson of the sheriff’s department in a press release. 

Deputies made entry into the residence and located what appeared to be two adult-aged people, deceased inside the residence. 

“This is an ongoing investigation by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau and the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office, and there is no further information at this time,” Jacobson said, adding, “there is no threat to the public.
