On December 3:

● 5:32 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 11, Wayne Township for a one vehicle accident. German D. Amaya-Murillo, 47, Darlington was traveling on STH 11 when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, entered the ditch, and struck a utility pole. Amaya-Murillo reported no injuries. Amya-Murillo’s 2006 Toyota received functional damage and was driven from the scene. Amaya-Murillo was cited for Operating Without a Valid License (OWL — 1st Offense) and Failure to Maintain Control.

● 8:51 p.m. Amber J. Ritschard, 37, Argyle reported striking a deer on CTH A, Argyle Township. Ritschard reported no injuries. Ritschard’s 2022 Jeep received functional damage and was driven from the scene. 

On December 5:

● 4:48 a.m. Skyler M. Burkholder, 22, Benton reported striking a deer while on CTH I, New Diggings Township. Burkholder reported no injuries. Burkholder’s 2021 Durango received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On December 7:

● 5:03 p.m. Jeremy D. Winslow, 44, Gratiot reported striking a deer while on STH 78, Wiota Township. Winslow reported no injuries and his 2004 Ford received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 6:32 p.m. A Deputy responded to Meier Ln, Monticello Township for a one vehicle accident. Emily Roalkvam, 21, Kenosha reported sliding into the ditch while traveling on Meier Ln. Roalkvam’s 2010 Hyundai received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On December 8:

● 10:50 a.m. A deputy responded to WP RD, Monticello Township for a one vehicle accident. Carolina F. Martinez-Garay, 33, Darlington was traveling on WP RD when she lost control of her vehicle and struck the guardrail. Martinez-Garay reported no injuries. Martinez-Garay’s 2004 Toyota received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Martinez-Garay was arrested for Operating Without a Valid License (OWL-2nd Offense). Martinez-Garay was transported to Lafayette County Jail where she was booked and later released. Martinez-Garay was also cited for Operating Without Insurance and Operating Too Fast for Conditions.
