Green County Leaders is a program that was developed to ensure Green County would have the leaders in business, industry and government it would need to face the challenges of today and the future. The program is now in its seventh year. More than 170 people in the Green County area have graduated from the program since that first class in 2002.

A year of learning and skill-development is planned for the GCL Class of 2010-11. The program consists of an orientation, nine (9) classes and a graduation banquet. Classes are held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month, from September through May, and focus on leadership skills and on issues Green County communities and residents are or will be facing in the future.

Green County Leaders is made possible through a partnership of the Green County Development Corporation, Green County UW-Extension, the Monroe Campus of Blackhawk Technical College, and other area organizations and businesses.
