DARLINGTON — A Darlington man was arrested on tentative charges of child pornography possession after police executed a search warrant on his Galena Street residence at about 7:45 a.m. Nov. 29.

Luis E. Leon-Martinez, 28, remains jailed pending court proceedings, according to the Darlington Police Department.

Formal charges had not yet been filed against Leon-Martinez as of the next morning. State court records go back to 2011 for him and include several misdemeanor traffic tickets for driving without a license as well as a City of Darlington citation for allowing a dog to run at large.

The search warrant on his home in the 600 block of Galena Street was the result of an investigation by Darlington police and the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
