BROOKLYN - Events for the Green County Dairy Days, hosted by the Brooklyn Area Chamber of Commerce, were announced.
On Friday, June 20, Dance on Hotel Street is set for 6 to 9 p.m. Green Field Brothers will perform. The introduction of Queen candidates will take place at 6 p.m.
On Saturday, June 21, the Car Show on Hotel Street is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. At 9:30 a.m., the cattle show is set to take place at the Green County Fair Grounds in Monroe. Moo Tails with displays will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Brooklyn Community Building. The Queens Banquet is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Brooklyn Community Building; the cost is $12.
The Fire/EMS Pancake Breakfast and Open House with fire engine rides will take place from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday, June 22. The parade will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the corner of Kerch and Hotel Street. Queen crowning will follow the parade. Antique tractor pull is set for noon at Legion Park. The American Legion will have a hot dog and brat stand, Ag Chest/FFA will have ice cream, and the Snow-Hornets will have a beer stand.
Geocaching of historical places, walking tour of historical homes and village-wide garages sales is set for the entire weekend.
