MONROE - The Green County Special Olympics is sponsoring a breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Sept. 23 at the Moose Lodge, 639 3rd Ave.
The proceeds from the annual event help local athletes from the Green County area participate in seasonal sports and activities. There are approximately 40 athletes who participate in track and field events, bowling and basketball skills. These sporting events involve local, regional and state competition.
