Council makes new committee assignments

MONROE - The City of Monroe Common Council confirmed the appointments of several aldermen to the various committee positions once held by Keith Ingwell.

Ingwell resigned his Ward 6 seat Jan. 4 to pursue retirement plans.

The council Tuesday also gave approval to leave the seat vacant until the city election in April.

Appointed to new committee positions are:

- Dan Henke, Board of Public Works

- Paul Hannes, Board of Public Works, alternate (Henke previously held the position.)

- Kent Kallembach, Ethics Board

- Michael Boyce, Public Property Committee, alternate

nNeal Hunter, Public Safety Committee

- Jan Lefevre, Salary and Personnel Committee

- Neal Hunter, Salary and Personnel Committee, alternate (Lefevre previously held the position.)

- Charles Koch, Plan Commission
