MONROE — On Friday, Aug. 31:

•  Jeffrey A. Hemmersbach, 50, Monticello, was uninjured and Lucas M. Wolfe, 33, Aniwa, was injured but declined medical treatment after a two-vehicle crash reported at 8:36 a.m. in the Town of Adams. Hemmersbach was driving a tractor hauling a wagon southbound on County J and attempting to turn onto Grossen Road when the accident occurred. Wolfe was also southbound on County J and was driving a garbage truck. Upon cresting a hill, Wolfe was unable to slow down, crossed the center line and collided with the tractor. The garbage truck overturned and hit a utility pole. Both vehicles were severely damaged and towed. Wolfe was cited for operating left of center.

•  No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash reported at 9:55 a.m. in the Town of Sylvester. Karla S. Carr, 46, Freeport was northbound on County FF and attempting to continue north to Dutch Hollow Road when she failed to see a westbound truck on County FF, operated by Austyn R. Althaus, 23, Monroe. Carr collided with the truck. The vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene. 

On Sunday, Sept. 2:

•  Hannah L. Swenson, 16, Monroe, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash reported at 1:05 p.m. in the W5200 block of County C, Town of Washington. She was eastbound when her vehicle left the road and struck the ditch. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed.

On Monday, Sept. 3:

•  Isabella R. Zweifel, 18, Monroe, was injured in a one-vehicle crash in the Town of New Glarus reported at 6:08 p.m. but declined EMS transport. She was southbound in the N9200 block of Wis. 69 when her vehicle left the road and overturned. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed. Deputies were assisted at the scene by New Glarus EMS, the New Glarus Police Department and New Glarus First Response.

•  Amara A. Hartwig, 20, Monroe, was uninjured in a crash reported at 9:44 p.m. in the N1900 block of Haddinger Road, Town of Clarno. She was northbound when a vehicle swerved at her and forced her off the road and into a field. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
