MONROE — On Wednesday, Sept. 25:
● A one-vehicle crash with no injuries was reported at 10:14 a.m. in the W6500 block of Patterson Road, Town of Clarno. Jocelyn Douglas, 17, Monroe, was westbound when she lost control due to the pea gravel and being distracted. She overcorrected and went into the south ditch. Her vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed. She was warned for inattentive driving and going too fast for conditions.
● Thomas Modaff Sr., 65, Albany, reported minor injuries from a farm accident at 3:39 p.m. in the N4300 block of Rechsteiner Road, Town of Sylvester. He declined medical attention. He was exiting a corn field on the west side of the road when he turned north and his feed truck went into the ditch and tipped on its side, spilling a small amount of corn silage. He was cited for not wearing a seatbelt.

DARLINGTON — On Wednesday, Sept. 18:
● Savannah L. Winters, 26, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 8:09 p.m. on County Shop Road, Town of Darlington. No injuries were reported. The 2013 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.
● A cow vs. vehicle accident was reported at 11:10 p.m. on Center Drive Road, Town of Elk Grove. Jose I. Lopez-Lopez, 28, Darlington, was westbound when he hit a cow in the road, causing his vehicle to become disabled in the roadway. The airbags deployed. No injuries were reported. The 2009 Chevrolet sustained severe damage and was towed. Lopez-Lopez was arrested on charges of driving without a valid license (third offense) and bail jumping. He was also cited for driving without vehicle insurance. The Platteville Fire Department and Southwest Health EMS assisted on scene.
On Thursday, Sept. 19:
● Kendra L. Johnson, 36, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 4 p.m. on Spore Road, Town of Argyle. No injuries were reported. The 2012 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
On Friday, Sept. 20:
● Lance A. Rossing, 35, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 6:33 a.m. on County C, Town of Argyle. The 2011 Toyota sustained minor damage.
On Saturday, Sept. 21:
● Lee R. Andrews, 41, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 5:05 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle. The 2001 Chrysler sustained minor damage.
● Cynthia L. Smith, 63, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 11:55 p.m. to Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. The 2012 Ford sustained minor damage.
On Sunday, Sept. 22:
● A two-vehicle accident with no injuries was reported at 3:03 p.m. in Shullsburg. Steven N. Dietzel, 55, Cuba City, failed to stop at a stop sign on Judgement Street at East Water Street and hit a vehicle driven by Darcy K. Ackerson, 59, Shullsburg. Ackerson’s 2019 Ram and Dietzel’s 2015 Dodge sustained moderate damage and were driven from the scene. Dietzel was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
On Monday, Sept. 23:
● Lori A. Garvey, 56, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 7:32 p.m. on Wildcat Road, Town of Darlington. No injuries were reported. Garvey’s 2017 Ford Escape sustained minor damage.
On Wednesday, Sept. 25:
● A dog vs. vehicle accident was reported at 9:21 a.m. on County G, Town of Kendall. Christopher Trejo, 20, Shullsburg, struck a loose dog in the road. No injuries were reported. The 2016 Buick sustained minor damage.
