MONROE — A Monroe woman, 75, was transported to the Monroe Clinic ER with non-life threatening injuries following a two-vehicle accident at about 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the intersection of West 8th Street and 1st Avenue. Investigation resulted in Raymond T. Marschang, 29, Freeport, being cited for failure to yield from a red signal.
● Officers responded to 9th Street and 15th Avenue for a report of a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident at 3:49 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, and arrived on scene to learn that a bicyclist was struck. The bicyclist reported injuries but declined EMS and was taken by private vehicle to a hospital. The driver, Betty J. Monahan, 60, Shullsburg, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way to a pedestrian or bicyclist and passing vehicles stopped for a pedestrian or bicyclist.

MONROE — Mary C. Adams, 42, Monticello, was transported via Argyle EMS for evaluation of injuries following a one-vehicle crash in the N5800 block of County J, Town of Adams, at 9:54 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11. She was southbound when her vehicle exited the east edge of the roadway. She attempted to correct and lost control. Her vehicle then entered the east ditch, where she again attempted to correct. The vehicle then re-entered the roadway and exited via the west shoulder, coming to rest in a cornfield. The vehicle sustained moderate damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. The Argyle Fire Department assisted deputies on scene.

DARLINGTON — On Tuesday, Sept. 10:
● Pamela M. Alt, 62, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer at 4 a.m. on County J, Town of Benton. No injuries were reported. The 2019 Nissan sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
● The Belmont Fire Department responded for traffic control of a disabled semi at 4:19 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. A deputy assisted on scene. The semi was towed.
● Kelsey J. Gant, 26, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer at 6:37 a.m. on County Line Road, Town of Blanchard. No injuries were reported. The 2015 GMC sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
