MONROE — On Aug. 25:

•  No injuries were reported in a single-vehicle accident at 4:45 a.m. in the N6700 block of English Settlement Road in Albany. Joey P. Diaz Barnett, 21, Albany, was southbound when he reported that he fell asleep. The vehicle left the road and struck a mailbox and tree. Diaz Barnett left the scene and stated that he was not injured and was wearing his seat belt. The air bags did not deploy in the vehicle. The vehicle had severe damage and was towed from the scene. The crash remains under investigation. 

On Aug. 26:

•  No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash at 9:58 a.m. in the N4800 block of County E in Decatur. John T. Kryshak, 49, Orfordville, was backing his truck and trailer into a driveway when he backed the trailer into a vehicle that was in the driveway. The vehicle in the driveway was operated by Natalely C. Bump, 16, Brodhead. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were not injured in the crash. Kryshak’s trailer sustained minor damage. Bump’s vehicle sustained moderate damage. Both vehicles were driven from the scene. 

•  No injuries were reported in a single-vehicle crash at 1 p.m. in the N7700 Block of Wis. 104 in Brooklyn. Matthew J. Rolli, 43, Gratiot, was southbound when he tried to pass a vehicle that was stopped on Wis. 107 waiting to turn east onto County C. Rolli’s vehicle struck a culvert and overturned. Rolli was not injured in the crash and was wearing his seat belt. The air bags deployed in his vehicle. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed. Rolli was cited for unsafe passing on the right and was released pending court.

DARLINGTON — On Aug. 25:

•  No injuries were reported in a vehicle vs. cow accident at 8:41 p.m. on Mineral Road in Seymour Township. Jerome A. Shepherd was traveling on Mineral Road when he struck a cow that was in the middle of the roadway. Shepherd’s vehicle sustained minor damage.

On Aug. 26: 

•  No injuries were reported in a vehicle vs. deer accident at 6:25 a.m. on Wis. 78 in Argyle. Steva M. Lehman, 22, Argyle, struck a deer on Wis. 78. The vehicle sustained minor damage. 

On Aug. 27:

•  No injuries were reported in an animal vs. vehicle accident at 11:32 p.m. on Ballard Road in Willow Springs Township. Rose H. Mason-Gould, 38, Mineral point, reported striking a deer. Mason-Gould’s vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
