Monroe Police

MONROE — A two-vehicle accident with no injuries was reported in the 400 block of 8th Street at 1:24 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16. Courtney Germain, 24, Freeport, was turning from a private drive and collided with a westbound vehicle driven by a 78-year-old Monroe man. Both vehicles sustained minor damage. Germain was cited for making an improper right turn.

DARLINGTON — On Monday, Oct. 14:

●  Donielle L. Wellnitz, 50, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 8:54 a.m. on Stuart Road, Town of Wayne. Her 2012 Buick sustained minor damage.

On Tuesday, Oct. 15:

●  Lashaundra L. Wolf, 27, Platteville, reported hitting a deer at 4:55 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot. Minor injuries were reported. Wolf’s 2019 Nissan sustained severe damage and was towed. Gratiot First Response, the Gratiot Fire Department and Green County EMS of Darlington assisted on scene.

On Wednesday, Oct. 16:

●  Richard J. Nelson, 78, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 6:34 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle. No injuries were reported. His 2002 Chrysler sustained minor damage.

●  Autumn J. Crooks, 48, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 10:18 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. No injuries were reports. Her 2017 Jeep sustained moderate damage and was towed.
