DARLINGTON — On Sept. 24:
● No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 1:58 p.m. on Center Hill Road, Town of Darlington. Devan A. Wiegel, 17, Darlington, was northbound on Ohnstad Road when he stopped at stop sign at intersection with Center Hill Rd. He proceeded and hit a northbound vehicle pulling a trailer on Center Hill Rd. operated by James R. Ackley, 16, Darlington. Wiegel was cited for failure to yield right of way. Darlington police assisted.
● A minor two-vehicle accident was reported at 2:27 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.
● No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 4 p.m. on East Main Street in Benton. Jason T. Stephens, 41, Benton, was exiting the Benton Gas Station and collided with another vehicle exiting the gas station operated by Charles L. Halverson, 85, Benton. Stephens’ vehicle sustained severe damage. It was towed. Halverson’s vehicle sustained moderate damage.
● Zacharia T. Houghton, 18, Rockton, Illinois, was transported by Med Flight to the hospital for non-life threatening serious injuries sustained from a two-vehicle accident at 2:14 p.m. Sept. 25 on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg. Houghton was southbound on Wis. 23 and stopped at the stop sign, then proceeded through the intersection with Wis. 11 in front of a 2001 Peterbuilt operated by Richard A. Mosley, 60, Darlington. Mosley’s vehicle sustained moderate damage. Houghton’s vehicle sustained severe damage. It was towed. Shullsburg Fire and EMS assisted.
● Madison M.L. Cook, 17, Blanchardville, was transported by Argyle EMS to Monroe Clinic for injuries sustained from a single-vehicle accident at 5:07 p.m. Sept. 30 on Kainz Road, Town of Argyle. Coy A. Ruegsegger, 16, Blanchardville, was eastbound when he failed to stop at a stop sign and went through the intersection. He over-corrected, entered the ditch and hit a tree. His 2011 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage. He was cited for failure to maintain control of vehicle and failure to stop at a stop sign. Argyle Fire and Blanchardville police assisted.
