Monroe Police

MONROE — On Friday, Oct. 11:

●  Police and Green County EMS responded at 9:01 a.m. to a two-vehicle accident with injuries. Michael M. Robinson, 34, Winslow, was northbound on 14th Avenue driving a delivery truck when he hit an eastbound vehicle on 21st Street. A passenger in the eastbound vehicle sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed. Robinson was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign.

●  Officers responded at 8 p.m. to a two-vehicle accident. Alex L. Siedschlag, 32, Monroe, was northbound on 17th Avenue when he he hit a westbound vehicle on 9th Street driven by Brooklynn C. Thomas, 23, Monroe. Siedschlag was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated and cited for operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration and failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign. He was later released pending court. Thomas was cited for driving with a suspended license and failure to carry vehicle insurance. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and had to be removed from the scene. 

On Sunday, Oct. 13:

●  Keith A. Ginner, 77, Monroe, was transported to the Monroe Clinic ER by private vehicle for treatment of minor injuries following a one-vehicle accident reported at 7:56 p.m. He was eastbound on West 7th Street just west of 6th Avenue West when his vehicle left the road and hit a fence and then a tree. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed. Ginner was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated and released pending court.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — On Thursday, Oct. 10:

●  A vehicle vs. farm tractor crash with no injuries was reported at 11:37 a.m. in the W8900 block of Buckeye Road, Town of York. Travis C. Leonard, 31, Blanchardville, was eastbound when his vehicle hit a grain trailer being pulled by a westbound tractor. His vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. The grain trailer and the tractor, driven by Peter W. Leonard, 59, Blanchardville, were undamaged.

●  A two-vehicle crash with no injuries was reported at 7:39 p.m. in the N5200 block of Wis. 104, Town of Albany. Devon L. Seitz, 27, Brodhead, was southbound behind Patrick J. Pasiecznik, 43, Orfordville. Pasiecznik slowed for a horse and buggy traveling on the shoulder of the roadway. Seitz failed to slow down and collided with Pasiecznik’s vehicle, which sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. Seitz’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed. Seitz was cited for inattentive driving and driving with a revoked license.

●  Avery A. Marean, 17, Albany, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 10:50 p.m. in the W1300 block of Brooklyn Albany Road, Town of Albany. She was westbound when she reported that she swerved to miss a deer. She lost control of the vehicle and collided with a mailbox on the north side of the road. The vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On Friday, Oct. 11:

●  Dakota M. Dicks, 17, Gratiot, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 7:59 a.m. in the W5700 block of County P, Town of Clarno. He was eastbound when he lost control, causing his vehicle to exit the roadway and hit a fence and utility pole. Two juvenile passengers in the vehicle reported no injuries. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed. Alliant Energy responded to repair the pole.

●  Curtis A. Domini, 60, Albany, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 8:05 a.m. on Wis. 92 at Glenway Road, Town of Brooklyn. He was eastbound when his vehicle struck a mailbox, causing minor damage to the vehicle.

●  Jared G. Condon, 27, Brodhead, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 4:41 p.m. in the N7500 block of County D, Town of Exeter. He was southbound when he reported that he swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle then exited the road and hit an embankment in the east ditch. The vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. Condon was cited for driving without vehicle insurance.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Wednesday, Oct. 9:

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 4:58 p.m. on Country Club Road, Town of Seymour. Griffen B. Heinberg, 24, Shullsburg, was westbound when he failed to stop at a stop sign and hit a 2014 Ford driven northbound on County U by Tasha J. Kelly, 24, Darlington. Kelly’s Ford and Heinberg’s 2013 Dodge sustained severe damage and were towed. The Darlington Fire Department and Green County EMS of Darlington assisted on scene. Heinberg was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign.


Darlington Police 

DARLINGTON — Jayne Russell, 67, Darlington, was transported to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County by Darlington EMS following a two-vehicle crash on Ravine Street reported at 4:41 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9. She was eastbound when her car crossed into the westbound lane of traffic and collided head-on with a parked SUV in the westbound parking lane. Both vehicles sustained major damage. Initial findings suggested Russell was driving under the influence of prescription controlled substances. She was cited for operating while under the influence.

On Thursday, Oct. 10:

●  Brandi J. Smith, 35, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 6:46 a.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs. The 2017 Mitsubishi sustained minor damage.

●  A one-vehicle accident was reported at 4:37 p.m. on Miner Way in Shullsburg. Walter L. Schneider, 78, Monroe, was parking in a commercial lot when he bumped his accelerator, causing his vehicle to go forward and strike a wall. His 2011 Chrysler sustained minor damage.

●  Dennis G. Crist, 65, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 5:34 p.m. on Meylor Lane, Town of Darlington. The 2017 Dodge sustained minor damage.

On Friday, Oct. 11:

●  A one-vehicle accident with no injuries was reported at 7:44 a.m. on Red Rock Road, Town of Darlington. A minor was westbound when he encountered mud on the roadway, causing him to lose control. The 2016 Chevrolet went into the ditch. It sustained moderate damage and was towed. The Darlington Fire Department and Green County EMS of Darlington assisted. Darlington police assisted.
