Green County Sheriff 

MONROE — On Saturday, Nov. 23:

●  Emily R. Manhart, 21, Stoughton, was injured in a rollover crash that deputies located at 2:58 a.m. in the W5100 block of County W, Town of New Glarus. New Glarus EMS transported her for evaluation. Investigation revealed she was westbound when she hit a deer, went off the road via the north shoulder and rolled an unknown number of times. The severely damaged vehicle was towed. Manhart was arrested on first-offense charges of operating while intoxicated and operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration. She was also cited for failure to maintain control. She was released to a responsible party pending court.

●  James P. Stine, 33, Winslow, and his passenger Jeffrey Brewer, 30, Madison, reported injuries from a deer vs. vehicle crash at 4:18 a.m. in the N4400 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe. They were evaluated on scene by Green County EMS. Stine was southbound when he hit the deer. The vehicle sustained moderate damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. Monroe police assisted deputies on scene.

On Sunday, Nov. 24:

●  Mitchell J. Schadawalt, 19, New Glarus, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 7:57 a.m. in the W6200 block of County C, Town of Washington. He was eastbound when he lost control due to frost on the road. His vehicle went off the road via the north shoulder and overturned. It was towed with moderate damage.

●  Kenneth G. Updike, 53, Evansville, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 9 a.m. in the W800 block of Wis. 11, Town of Decatur. He was westbound when he lost control due to ice/frost on the road. The vehicle went off the road via the north ditch and overturned. It sustained severe damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. Brodhead police assisted on scene.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Wednesday, Nov. 13:

●  Francie M. Reichling, 31, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 5:52 p.m. on Furnace Hill Road, Town of Willow Springs. No injuries were reported. The 2014 Dodge sustained minor damage.

On Thursday, Nov. 14:

●  Phillip A. Houtakker, 57, Benton, reported hitting a deer at 6:40 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg. No injuries were reported. The 2004 Dodge owned by the Lafayette County Highway Department sustained severe damage but was driven from the scene.

●  Autumn Unbehaun, 23, Benton, and her juvenile passenger were transported by ambulance for minor injuries from in a two-vehicle accident reported at 6:46 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of New Diggings. She was westbound when she lost control of her 2012 Chevrolet, crossed the centerline and hit an eastbound vehicle, also a 2012 Chevrolet, driven by Catherine J. Klang, 37, Benton. Klang declined EMS treatment. Both vehicles sustained severe damage and were towed. Unbehaun was cited for failure to maintain control. The Benton Fire Department, Benton First Response and Hazel Green EMS assisted on scene.

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 7:48 a.m. on County M, Town of Wiota. Hunter N. Thayer, 17, Argyle, was westbound when he lost control of his 2007 Pontiac on a corner due to icy road conditions. The Pontiac crossed the centerline, entered the ditch and hit a culvert. The Pontiac was severely damaged and towed. Thayer was cited for failure to maintain control.
