MONROE — Both drivers were treated at the scene for injuries following a two-vehicle crash reported in the W9100 block of Wis. 11, Town of Cadiz, at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14. Justin C. Dickau, 22, South Wayne, was eastbound when he lost control due to icy road conditions, crossed the centerline and hit a westbound vehicle driven by Nicholas J. Kessenich, 39, Lodi. Dickau’s vehicle sustained severe damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. Kessenich’s vehicle was driven from the scene with moderate damage. Dickau was cited for possessing open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. Green County EMS and Browntown First Response assisted deputies on scene.

On Sunday, Nov. 17:

●  Brett A. Grinder, 23, Monticello, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash reported at 5:09 a.m. in the W6100 block of County C, Town of Washington. He was westbound when he lost control on a curve. The vehicle entered the ditch, went down an embankment and collided with a tree. The severely damaged vehicle was towed. Grinder was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of alcohol and released pending court. He was also cited for failure to keep a vehicle under control and driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration.

●  Annika J. Becker. 16, Blanchardville, sustained a non-life threatening injury in a rollover crash reported at 4:04 p.m. in the N8800 block of Sunnyside Road, Town of York. She was northbound when she lost control on a curve. The vehicle entered the ditch and struck an embankment, then rolled and came to rest on its tires. The vehicle sustained severe damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. Becker was cited for driving too fast for conditions.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Monday, Nov. 11:

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 6:15 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall. The 1994 GMC driven by Anna C. Evenson, 20, Cambridge, slid into the ditch due to snowy road conditions. It sustained minor damage and was towed. The Mineral Point Fire Department and Mineral Point EMS assisted.
