Green County Sheriff 

MONROE — Michelle D. Dollak, 49, Durand, Illinois, sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash reported at 1:35 p.m. May 22 in the N1300 block of County G, Town of Spring Grove. Dollak was southbound when she was hit by a westbound vehicle driven by Miranda J. Wenger, 18, Brodhead. Wenger failed to yield the right-of-way at the stop sign on Town Center Road. Dollak’s passenger reported no injuries. Her vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. Wenger and her passenger reported no injuries. Her vehicle had functional damage and she drove it from the scene. Wenger was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign. The Brodhead Fire Department and Brodhead EMS assisted deputies on scene.

●  Mark R. Heiss, 60, Madison, reported no injuries from a motorcycle crash at 4:22 p.m. May 24 in the W7400 block of Wis. 39, Town of York. He was westbound when he failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle entered the north ditch, went up an embankment and came to a rest on its side. It sustained disabling damage and was towed.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — Diane K. Winslow, 57, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 2:47 p.m. May 21 on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. Her 2012 Chevrolet sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

●  Teresa A. Johnson, 56, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer at 6:13 p.m. May 22 on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle. No injuries were reported. The 2013 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

On May 23:

●  A one-vehicle accident was reported at 4:34 a.m. on County H, Town of Benton. Benton First Response and Cuba City EMS responded. As a result, Amber R. Bratcher, 22, Galena, Illinois, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated. She was released to a responsible party.

●  A one-vehicle accident was reported at 5:44 a.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings. Richard J. Coulthard, 48, Belmont, was northbound when his 2019 Ford entered the ditch and hit a utility pole. No injuries were reported. The Ford sustained moderate damage. It was towed. Coulthard was cited for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.

●  A deputy and the South Wayne Fire Department responded at 8:25 p.m. to Andrews Road, Town of Wayne, for a vehicle in the ditch.
