Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Brenda L. Barthel, 44, Monroe, and Michael L. Burdick, 41, Fort Atkinson, reported injuries from a two-vehicle accident at 10 a.m. Friday, June 21, in the W7100 block of Wis. 81, Town of Monroe. Barthel was transported by Monroe EMS for further evaluation of her injuries. She was westbound when her vehicle rear-ended Burdick’s vehicle while he was making a turn. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were towed. Barthel was cited for operating while under the influence of a controlled substance, following too closely and failure to wear a seatbelt. The Monroe Fire Department assisted at the scene.


Lafayette County Sheriff 

DARLINGTON — Alan J. Kent, 55, Warren, reported hitting a deer on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot, at 10:03 p.m. Thursday, June 20. No injuries were reported. The 2011 Chevrolet owned by Rhonda S. Storey, 57, Warren, sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

●  Nathaniel H. Hebbe, 18, Jefferson, reported hitting a deer on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont, at 7:07 p.m. Friday, June 21. No injuries were reported. His 2002 Chevrolet sustained severe damage and was towed.
