MONROE — On Friday, May 24:

●  Alejandro Fernandez, 23, Zion, Illinois, and his passenger Marco I. Cruz-Palma, 23, Beach Park, Illinois, sustained injuries in a single-vehicle semi crash reported at 5:04 a.m. in the W300 block of Wis. 11, Town of Decatur. They were transported by Brodhead EMS. Fernandez was eastbound when he lost control of the semi. It entered the south ditch, then crossed the roadway and entered the north ditch, where it overturned. Cruz-Palma reported not wearing a seatbelt. The semi sustained disabling damage and was towed. Fernandez was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and failure to have a passenger seat-belted. The Brodhead Police and Fire Departments assisted deputies on scene. The Wisconsin State Patrol responded for a post-crash inspection.

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 7:44 a.m. in the W5100 block of Round Grove Road, Town of Monroe. Kristen Ann Kundert, 18, Monroe, was exiting a driveway when she collided with a westbound vehicle driven by Eric Steven Scace, 45, Monroe. Both vehicles sustained moderate functional damage and were driven from the scene.

On Saturday, May 25:

●  Darrin W. Demrow, 40, Brodhead, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 2:03 p.m. in the area of County E and St. John Road, Town of Decatur. He was operating near the east intersection when he intentionally left the roadway. The vehicle entered standing water off the road and sustained suspension damage. It was towed from the ditch. Demrow was cited for operating a vehicle with tires with less than 2/32-inch tread depth.

On Tuesday, May 28:

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 7:58 a.m. at the intersection of Wis. 69 and Advance Road, Town of Clarno. Nancy Houston, 59, Dakota, Illinois, was stopped in traffic waiting to turn when a vehicle driven by Daniel J. Payette, 34, Shannon, Illinois, rear-ended her vehicle. Houston’s vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Payette’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed. Payette was cited for inattentive driving.

DARLINGTON — On Friday, May 24:

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 1:24 a.m. on Blackhawk Road, Town of Shullsburg. Dean P. Redington, 35, Scales Mound, Illinois, was driving a 2012 GMC when the grain tender hitch attached to the GMC broke off, causing the vehicle to go into the ditch.

●  A one-vehicle accident was reported at 8:13 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington. Darlington police assisted on scene.

On Saturday, May 25:

●  McKenzie M. Davidson, 24, Winnebago, Illinois, reported hitting a deer at 8:58 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. No injuries were reported. The 2010 Nissan sustained minor damage.

On Sunday, May 26:

●  Dennis J. McGuire, 65, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 1:46 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. No injuries were reported. The 2004 Pontiac sustained minor damage.

●  Injuries were reported from a vehicle vs. horse crash at 10:18 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove. Tina J. Tree, 36, Platteville, struck a horse in the roadway, causing her vehicle to enter the ditch and hit a fence. The 2007 Chevrolet sustained severe damage. It was towed. Belmont EMS and the Belmont Fire Department assisted on scene.

On Wednesday, May 29:

●  Sydney N. Delzer, 18, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 12:55 a.m. on County N, Town of Wiota. No injuries were reported. The 2014 Toyota  sustained minor damage.

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 7:45 a.m. on County P, Town of Monticello. Samuel J. K. Barmore, 31, Stockton, Illinois, moved over in his lane to allow a vehicle to pass, causing his tires to enter the gravel. He lost control of the vehicle and entered the ditch. The 2006 Buick sustained minor damage. It was towed.

●  A deputy came upon a one-vehicle accident at 10:19 a.m. on County Y, Town of Wiota. David H. Gilbertson, 69, Blanchardville, had struck a cow in the roadway. No injuries were reported. The 2001 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 3:43 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle. Thomas J. Ellefson, 66, Darlington, was driving when mechanical issues in the 2000 Ford caused the vehicle to go into a ditch and strike a mailbox. The Ford sustained minor damage and remained on scene.
