MONROE — Trishalane Hataway, 47, New Glarus, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash in New Glarus at 6:18 a.m. Thursday, July 18. She was eastbound on 2nd Avenue near the intersection with Railroad Street when the brakes on her vehicle failed. The vehicle went off the road at the intersection and hit several small trees. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was later towed. New Glarus EMS and the New Glarus Fire Department assisted deputies on scene.

DARLINGTON — On Thursday, July 18:

●  A one-vehicle accident was reported at 7:11 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne. The South Wayne Fire Department, South Wayne First Response and Green County EMS assisted deputies.

●  James P. Baumgartner, 48, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 8:32 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota. No injuries were reported. His 2017 Jeep sustained severe damage. It was driven from the scene.

On Friday, July 19:

●  Casey J. Flannery, 31, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 7:22 p.m. on County G, Town of Argyle. No injuries were reported. The 2013 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage.
