MONROE — On Thursday, Jan. 9:
● Tbaronn Parks, 32, Freeport, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at about 6:30 a.m. on County CC at County C, Town of Mount Pleasant. He was southbound when he swerved to miss a deer, lost control and collided with a tree. His vehicle sustained severe damage. He then took himself to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries. Deputies were notified of the crash at 9:46 a.m. Parks was cited for unreasonable and imprudent speed, failure to notify law enforcement of an accident and hit-and-run to property adjacent to a highway.
● A car vs. deer crash with injuries was reported at 6:24 p.m. in the W4900 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe. Cheryl L. Cooper, 47, and her passenger Jessie A. Cooper, both of Rock City, Illinois, were eastbound when a deer collided with the vehicle. The airbags deployed. Cheryl was transported by ambulance for further medical treatment. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed.
On Friday, Jan. 10:
● Ryan A. Berget, 45, Brodhead, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash that occurred at about 6:30 a.m. in the Town of Brooklyn. He was northbound on Wis. 104 and hit ice as he turned onto Amidon Road, causing him to lose control and hit a sign. The vehicle sustained minor damage.
● A two-vehicle crash was reported at 12:15 p.m. in the W1100 block of Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove. Jason R. Lucas, 42, Montrose, Iowa, was westbound when he crossed the centerline and hit a vehicle driven by Christopher M. Jones, 44, Janesville. Jones reported minor injuries. Lucas reported no injuries. Both vehicles sustained minor damage. Lucas was cited for operating left of center.
On Saturday, Jan. 11:
● A two-vehicle crash was reported at 5:58 a.m. in the N2500 block of County S, Town of Sylvester. Nathan R. Parris, 21, Machesney Park, Illinois, was southbound when he lost control due to the ice-covered road surface. His vehicle then rear-ended a southbound vehicle driven by Raymond H. Wilde, 43, Brodhead. Parris reported no injuries. Wilde and his passenger also reported no injuries. The vehicles sustained minor damage.
● Roger C. Green, 71, Brodhead, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 11:54 a.m. in the N1600 block of County G, Town of Spring Grove. He was northbound when he reported he moved over to allow farm equipment to get by. When he drove back onto the road, he lost traction due to the ice-covered road surface. The vehicle then entered the ditch. It sustained moderate front-end damage and was driven from the scene. Brodhead police assisted deputies on scene.
● A two-vehicle crash was reported at 2:59 p.m. in the N7600 block of County E, Town of Brooklyn. Kenneth L. Day, 47, Albany, was southbound when he crossed the centerline and entered the northbound lane. His vehicle sideswiped a northbound vehicle driven by Michael J. Marean, 49, Albany. Day and his passenger were uninjured. Marean sustained a minor injury. The vehicles sustained minor damage. Day was cited for inattentive driving.
● Johnathan T. Sutherland, 26, Albany, reported no injuries from a rollover crash at 6:43 p.m. in the W1100 block of Elmer Road, Town of Brooklyn. He was westbound when he lost control due to the ice- and snow-covered road surface. The vehicle entered the south ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its side. It sustained disabling damage and was towed.
On Sunday, Jan. 12:
● A two-vehicle crash involving a dog was reported at 5:40 p.m. in the N9000 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus. Matthew D. Belknap, 41, New Glarus, was southbound when he attempted to stop for a dog running in the roadway. He was unable to avoid colliding with the dog. His vehicle was then rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Kerstan L. Shippy, 19, Pearl City, Illinois. Belknap’s adult passenger and two of his three juvenile passengers sustained minor injuries. Shippy and her passenger reported no injuries. Both vehicles sustained functional damage and were driven from the scene. The dog was found to be alive. The owner was located, and the dog was turned over to its owner.

DARLINGTON — On Thursday, Dec. 26:
● William C. Babler, 39, East Dubuque, Illinois, reported hitting a deer at 5:30 p.m. on County H, Town of Benton. No injuries were reported. The 2017 Toyota sustained minor damage.
On Friday, Dec. 27:
● Injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 12:50 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington. Bette J. Hanson, 77, Argyle, lost control of her 2013 Nissan, entered the ditch, overcorrected and came to rest hitting a power pole. The Nissan was severely damaged and towed. Hanson was cited for failure to maintain control. The Darlington Fire Department and Green County EMS of Darlington assisted on scene. Darlington police assisted with traffic control.
● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 3:37 p.m. on County U, Town of White Oak Springs. Jonathan M. Sutter, 24, East Dubuque, Illinois, lost control of his 2013 Chevrolet, entered the ditch and hit a culvert. The Chevrolet sustained moderate damage. It was towed. Sutter was cited for failure to maintain control and failure to notify police of an accident.
On Saturday, Dec. 28:
● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 6:40 p.m. in the Town of Wayne. Lacey L. J. Johnson, 26, South Wayne, was northbound on Mau Road when she failed to stop at the stop sign at Wis. 11 and went through the intersection into the ditch. The 2014 Chevrolet sustained minor damage. It was towed. Johnson was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
On Sunday, Dec. 29:
● Deborah L. Quinn, 64, Roscoe, Illinois, reported hitting a deer at 5:43 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne. No injuries were reported. Her 2015 Buick sustained moderate damage.
