Monroe Police 

MONROE – Tina K. Fowler, 71, Monroe, was evaluated by EMS for minor injuries sustained from a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident at 10:34 p.m. Dec. 11 on 9th Street and 15th Avenue. Laura A. Winters, 52, Monroe, was eastbound on 9th St. and hit the leg of Fowler as she was walking north crossing 9th St. No citations were issued. 

Green County Sheriff 

MONROE – Injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 8:06 a.m. Dec. 13 in the N6900 block of Wis. 69, Town of Washington. Heidi L. Wing, 59, Monticello, was northbound and slowed down to make a left turn when another northbound vehicle operated by Kayla J. Andrews, 28, Monticello, hit her vehicle. Wing was transported by EMS for evaluation. Andrews and her juvenile passenger were transported by EMS for evaluation. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage. Andrews’ vehicle had airbag deployment. Both were towed. Andrews was cited for driving too fast for conditions. Monticello Fire Department, Green County EMS and Monticello Police Department assisted. 

On Dec. 14: 

● Injuries were reported from a vehicle vs. deer accident at 4:53 p.m. in the N8000 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus. Cheri L. Riddle, 47, Monroe, was southbound when a deer entered the roadway and hit her vehicle. Her vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment. It was towed. 

● Injuries were reported from a single-vehicle accident at 10:55 p.m. on Holloway Road and Wis. 69, Town of Washington. Autumn G. Elmer, 16, Brodhead, was northbound on Wis. 69 attempting to turn onto Holloway Rd. and entered the north ditch. Her passengers were Alexis M. Dirks, 18, Monroe; Kendyll C. Kuebli, 19, Monticello and Mariah R. Gilbertson, 17, Brodhead. All four were transported by EMS for evaluation. Dirks was not wearing here seatbelt. The vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. Elmer was cited for failure to maintain control of vehicle. 

On Dec. 15: 

● Brady A. Denniston, 36, Davis, was transported by EMS for medical evaluation of injuries sustained from a single-vehicle accident at 12:47 a.m. in the W1000 block of County E, Town of Decatur. He was westbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, exited the roadway and rolled coming to rest in the west ditch. He was not wearing his seatbelt. A passenger, Derek L. Thompson, 41, Brodhead, was also transported by EMS for evaluation of injuries sustained. The vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. Albany EMS, Albany Fire Department, Brodhead EMS and Green County EMS assisted. 

● No injuries were reported from a car vs. tree accident at 9:49 p.m. in the W8000 block of Wis. 81, Town of Jordan. Robert M. Davis, 40, Winslow, was eastbound when he hit a downed tree on the roadway. His vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed.
