MONROE — On Friday, Feb. 1:

●  A vehicle vs. tree crash, with the driver gone from the scene, was reported at 12:58 a.m. in the W1700 block of County EE, Town of Albany. Investigation revealed Matthew L. Disch, 33, Albany, was eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, went off the road and hit a tree head-on. He tried to drive the vehicle from the scene but was unsuccessful. He then fled the scene. Deputies located Disch later at a residence in rural Albany. He reported no injuries. The vehicle sustained severe front-end damage, with the airbags deployed. It was towed. Disch was cited for hit-and-run on property adjacent to a highway, failure to notify law enforcement of a crash, driving too fast for conditions, failure to fasten seatbelt and keeping open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. The Albany Police Department assisted with the investigation.

●  Charis A. Perdue, 21, Monroe, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 7:33 a.m. in the W2900 block of Wis. 11, Town of Jefferson. She lost control on a curve. The vehicle went into the ditch, struck an embankment, reentered the roadway and then went back into the ditch and struck a large snowbank, went down an embankment and came to rest on its side. The vehicle sustained damage and was towed. Perdue was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle.
