Monroe Police

MONROE — No injuries were reported from a rollover crash in the W5400 block of Wis. 11 at 5:03 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 17. Filipe Moreno-Maguellal, 56, Beloit, was westbound when his vehicle veered off the road into the north ditch line, rolled twice and came to rest on its wheels. He was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while intoxicated and cited for driving with a revoked license, driving too fast for conditions, having no vehicle insurance and driving without a required ignition interlock device. He was released to a responsible person pending court.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — On Sunday, Feb. 17:

●  Kasa M. Riley, 32, Argyle, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle accident at 5:30 a.m. in the N7000 block of County A, Town of Adams. She was northbound when she lost control due to snow on the road. The vehicle entered the east shoulder and collided with a large snowbank. The airbags deployed, and the vehicle sustained damage. It was towed.

●  Natasha M. Hedke, 20, Belleville, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle accident at 11:03 a.m. in the W7200 block of Wis. 39, Town of York. She was eastbound when she lost control due to snow on the road. The vehicle entered the ditch and struck a road sign, a stop sign and a snow bank before coming to rest. The vehicle sustained damage and was towed.

●  Anthony A. Grignano, 17, Belleville, reported injuries from a vehicle vs. plow truck accident at 5:12 p.m. on County C at Horan Road, Town of Brooklyn. Grignano was westbound on County C when he lost control due to snow on the road and struck a plow truck operated by Roger L. Frautschy, 61, Brooklyn. Grignano’s vehicle then continued into the ditch, where it came to rest. Grignano was not transported from the scene for treatment of his injuries. His vehicle sustained damage and was towed. Frautschy reported no injuries. The plow sustained damage but the truck was undamaged and driven from the scene.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — Marvin G. Engelke, 71, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer on Wis. 78, Town of Blanchard, at 6:25 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14. His 2012 Hyundai sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On Friday, Feb. 15:

●  A one-vehicle accident was reported at 9:45 a.m. on East Main Street in Blanchardville.

●  Taryn E. Evenstad, 26, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 4:42 p.m. on County F, Town of Fayette. No injuries were reported. Evenstad’s 2013 Ford sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On Saturday, Feb. 16:

●  A one-vehicle accident was reported at 3:41 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

On Sunday, Feb. 17:

●  A one-vehicle accident was reported at 3:29 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 4:38 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.

●  A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 4:47 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove.

●  A one-vehicle accident was reported at 6:29 p.m. on South Park Street in Belmont.

●  Scott J. Wedig, 43, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 9:08 p.m. on County F, Town of Fayette. No injuries were reported. His GMC sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
