MONROE — On Thursday, Feb. 7:
● Shawna L. Osbaugh, 37, Monroe, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle accident at 3:01 a.m. in the W9500 block of Wis. 81, Town of Adams. Osbaugh advised she was westbound when she lost control of her vehicle due to snow and ice on the road. The white Ford Fiesta went into the ditch and sustained functional damage. It remained on scene until road conditions allowed for it to be removed.
● Angela L. Pobanz, 24, Loves Park, Illinois, and Christopher L. Maness, 32, Mississippi, reported no injuries from a car vs. semi accident at 4:55 a.m. in the W4700 block of Wis. 11, Town of Jefferson. Pobanz was westbound when she attempted to pass the semi unit driven by Maness. She lost control and struck the driver’s side. Her vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed. The semi sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. Pobanz was cited for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
● Gavin F. Klocke, 17, Monroe, reported no injuries from a car vs. power pole crash at 5:23 a.m. in the N400 block of Five Corner Road, Town of Jefferson. He was northbound when he lost control due to icy road conditions. His vehicle went into the west ditch and collided with an Alliant Energy power pole. The vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and was left at the scene to be towed when road conditions improved. Klocke was provided a ride to his residence.
● Joel R. Nall, 53, Argyle, reported no injuries from a plow truck crash at 8:37 a.m. in the area of Puddledock Road near Wildlife Road, Town of Adams. Nall was westbound on Puddledock Road when the Town of Adams plow truck began to slide on the ice-covered road. The truck went into the ditch and overturned onto the driver’s side. The truck sustained minor damage and was left at the scene until road conditions allowed for removal.
● Kenneth S. Creed, 60, Monroe, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 11:18 a.m. in the Town of Monroe. He was northbound on Joy Del Road near Wis. 81 when he lost control on a curve due to ice on the road. The vehicle went into the ditch and collided with hardened snow. The impact caused moderate damage. The vehicle was pulled from the ditch by a private party and driven from the scene.
● Ricky DeNure, 54, Albany, reported no injuries from a two-vehicle crash at 11:51 a.m. in the 200 block of Nichols Street in Albany. DeNure was eastbound driving a Village of Albany plow truck when it collided with a legally parked 2014 silver Chevrolet Impala. The car was unoccupied and sustained functional damage. The plow truck sustained no damage.
On Saturday, Feb. 9:
● Deputies responded to a report of an unoccupied vehicle in the road at 6:26 a.m. in the W2000 block of Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove, and arrived to find the vehicle had been involved in a crash and the driver had fled the scene. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed. An investigation identified the driver as Alexandria M. Lee, 31, Brodhead. It was determined Lee was eastbound in the W2900 block of Wis. 11 when she said she swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch. Lee then drove the vehicle to the W2000 block of Wis. 11. She reported no injuries from the crash. She was cited for unsafe lane deviation, failure to keep a motor vehicle under control, hit-and-run to property adjacent to the highway, failure of operator to notify police of an accident, improper parking on the roadway, non-registration of an auto and possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

MONROE — A two-vehicle accident with no injuries was reported at 10:01 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4. Mary J. Wedesky, 71, Monroe, was turning south onto Wis. 69 from 11th Street when she side-swiped a southbound vehicle on Wis. 69 driven by a 65-year-old Verona man. Wedesky’s vehicle was towed. The other vehicle was driven from the scene. Wedesky was cited for making an improper right turn.
● A two-vehicle accident was reported on Wis. 11 at North 18th Avenue at 8:08 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5. Tesla A. Davidson, 27, Monroe, was approaching the intersection when she rear-ended a vehicle driven by a 42-year-old Gratiot woman who was stopped at the stop sign. Davidson was cited for driving without a valid license and following too closely. Davidson’s vehicle was driven from the scene by a valid driver, and the other vehicle was removed by the Gratiot woman.
● A two-vehicle accident with no injuries was reported at 16th Avenue and 9th Street at 12:10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7. Daniel J. Smiley, 36, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old Albany man. Smiley was cited for driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance.

DARLINGTON — On Saturday, Jan. 26:
● A one-vehicle accident was reported at 7:09 p.m. on Oak Park Road, Town of Kendall. Emily J. Walker, 20, Belmont, lost control of her vehicle due to road conditions. Her 2014 Chevrolet sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. Belmont police assisted on scene.
● Mackenzie M. Cunningham, 27, Benton, reported hitting a deer at 8:40 p.m. on Aetna Road, Town of New Diggings. Her 2014 Buick sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
On Sunday, Jan. 27:
● Beau D. Paisley, 38, Darlington, reported hitting a coyote at 2:16 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove. Paisley’s 2008 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was towed.
● Jason A. Ludlum, 43, Platteville, reported hitting a deer at 6:23 p.m. on Bethel Grove Road, Town of Belmont. His 2011 Honda sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
● William F. Heins, 64, Mineral Point, reported hitting a deer at 6:44 p.m. on Powell Road, Town of Belmont. No injuries were reported. His 2016 Ford sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
On Thursday, Jan. 31:
● Shi Mingjin, 37, Roscoe, Illinois, was transported by ambulance from a one-vehicle rollover reported at 3:40 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of New Diggings. She lost control of her 2010 Lexus, causing it to exit the roadway and roll over. It was severely damaged and towed. Benton First Response, the Benton Fire Department, Hazel Green EMS and Shullsburg police assisted on scene.
● John A. Witmer III, 29, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 11:32 p.m. on County G, Town of Argyle. His 2004 Chevrolet sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
On Friday, Feb. 1:
● Donald D. Heuvelman, 57, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer at 12:29 a.m. on County W, Town of New Diggings. No injuries were reported. His 2005 Mercury sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
● A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 6:23 a.m. on County O, Town of White Oak Springs; at 6:40 a.m. on County D, Town of Fayette; at 7:23 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont; at 8:24 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont; at 8:36 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle; at 1:52 p.m. on Dump Road, Town of Benton; at 5:02 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour; at 5:52 p.m. on Short Cut Road, Town of Willow Springs.
● A minor one-vehicle accident was reported at 4:50 p.m. on Bean Street Road, Town of New Diggings.
● Luke R. McGuire, 47, Mineral Point, reported hitting a deer at 6:17 p.m. on Short Cut Road, Town of Willow Springs. No injuries were reported. His 2016 Ford sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
● A one-vehicle accident was reported at 8:09 p.m. on West Mound Road, Town of Belmont.
