MONROE — A traffic accident was reported in the 700 block of 8th Avenue at 5:34 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6. Barbara J. Burggraf, 69, Monroe, hit a legally parked vehicle as she was northbound. She was cited for inattentive driving.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash on Cottage Grove at Golf Course Road at 11:49 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6. David R. Christians Jr., 54, Freeport, was eastbound approaching the intersection when a westbound vehicle driven by Debra K. Noonan, 58, Brodhead, crossed the centerline and struck his vehicle. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed.

●  A vehicle abandoned in a field was reported in the N100 block of Wis. 69, Town of Clarno, at 7:34 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7. The vehicle had been in a crash. The vehicle was southbound when it went into the west ditch, hit a fence and then entered a picked cornfield, where it came to rest. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was later towed with disabling damage. An investigation revealed the driver was Areli Vazquez Tapia, 18, Orangeville. He reported he fell asleep behind the wheel and was uninjured. He was cited for driving without a valid license, failure to keep a vehicle under control, failure to notify police of an accident and hit-and-run to property adjacent to a highway.

DARLINGTON — On Monday, Nov. 18:

On Wednesday, Nov. 20:

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 6:18 a.m. on County F, Town of Blanchard. Michael E. Berg, 62, Blanchardville, failed to negotiate a turn due to weather conditions.

●  No injuries were reported from a rollover accident at 2:32 p.m. on County F, Town of Fayette. Illyana B. Riley, 22, Watertown, lost control, causing her 2008 Hyundai to leave the road and overturn. The Hyundai sustained moderate damage and was towed. The Darlington Fire Department and Green County EMS of Darlington assisted on scene.

●  Ted A. Thomas, 57, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 5 p.m. on Apple Grove Church Road, Town of Argyle. The 2012 Ford sustained minor damage.

●  Jamie Sigafus, 43, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 6:16 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Benton. The 2012 Volkswagen sustained minor damage.

On Thursday, Nov. 21:

●  Miranda L. Rebout, 42, Janesville, reported hitting a deer at 5:16 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle. The 2004 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.

On Friday, Nov. 22:

●  Jacklyn C. Donaldson, 27, Platteville, reported hitting a deer at 6:51 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. No injuries were reported. The 2018 Kia sustained moderate damage. It was towed.

●  Margene R. Dagle, 58, Benton, reported hitting a deer at 7:53 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot. No injuries were reported. The 2011 Dodge sustained minor damage.

●  Ryan C. Carolan, 34, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 8:57 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne. No injuries were reported. The 2011 Mitsubishi sustained moderate damage. It was towed.
