● Catherine J. Klang, 37, Benton, reported hitting a deer at 5:50 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg. No injuries were reported. The 2012 Chevrolet sustained severe damage and was towed.
● Steven J. Boyle, 67, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 8:16 p.m. on Godfrey Road, Town of Willow Springs. No injuries were reported. The 2008 Chrysler sustained minor damage.
On Sunday, Aug. 25:
● No injuries were reported from a vehicle vs. tractor accident at 10:02 a.m. on County F, Town of Blanchard. Michael E. Berg, 62, Blanchardville, slowed his tractor to turn into a driveway when a vehicle driven by Patricia K. Arndt, 75, Hollandale, struck the tractor. Berg’s tractor and Arndt’s 2004 Buick sustained moderate damage.
● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 4:02 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. Katherine A. Bennin, 27, Waterloo, Iowa, was southbound when she lost control and went off the road into a fence. Her 2011 Chevrolet sustained minor damage. She was cited for failure to maintain control.
On Monday, Aug. 26:
● No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 5:22 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot. The Gratiot Fire Department and First Responders and Green County EMS of Darlington responded. Robert G. Wand, 55, Gratiot, was eastbound in his 2017 Toyota and signaled to turn into his home driveway. Mitchell C. Steinhoff, 25, Monroe, was eastbound behind Wand in his 2010 Honda and reported seeing the turn signal but rear-ended Wand’s vehicle, pushing it off into the ditch to the right. Both vehicles sustained severe damage and were towed. Steinhoff was cited for inattentive driving.
On Wednesday, Aug. 28:
● Aras Ozpirincci, 32, Cuba City, reported hitting a deer at 7:22 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot. The 2012 Ford sustained minor damage.
● Travis D. Pina, 26, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 7:13 p.m. on County K, Town of Gratiot. The 1999 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was towed.
