Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Aug. 20:

•  No injuries were reported when Yvonna L. Spencer, 31, Elizabeth, Illinois, struck a deer at 5:49 a.m. on County W in White Oak Springs Township. Her vehicle sustained minor damage. 

n  No injuries were reported when Jean A. Anschutz, 66, Gratiot, struck a deer at 8:53 a.m. on County K in Darlington.

•  No injuries were reported when Shirley A. Hodson, 77, Gratiot, struck a deer at 6:32 p.m. on County W in Monticello Township. Her vehicle sustained minor damage.

•  No injuries were reported when Grant L. Benson, 46, Gratiot, struck a deer at 9:06 p.m. on Wis. 78 in Wiota Township. His vehicle sustained minor damage.

On Aug. 22:

•  No injuries were reported when Harris S. Gottlieb, 87, Grayslake, Illinois stuck a deer at 2:10 p.m. on County G in Argyle. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene. 

Green County Sheriff

MONROE – On Aug. 21:

•  No injuries were reported in as single-vehicle crash at 3:12 p.m. in the N2400 block of Brodhead Airport Road in Spring Grove. Chase A. R. Sloniker, 16, Albany, was traveling southbound on Brodhead airport Road when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole. Sloniker was wearing his seatbelt and the airbags in the vehicle did not deploy. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed.
