MONROE — No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 3:04 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20. Samantha J. Meyer, 19, Monroe, was southbound on 12th Avenue and stopped at a stop sign at 17th Street, then proceeded into the intersection and hit a vehicle traveling westbound on 17th Street. Meyer’s vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed. The other vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. Meyer was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign.

MONROE — Carolyn J. Babler, 61, New Glarus, and her juvenile passenger were uninjured in a one-vehicle crash reported in the N5400 block of County N, Town of Washington, at 6:03 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19. Babler was southbound when she lost control of her vehicle. It entered the ditch, then went back onto the roadway and came to rest. It sustained disabling damage and was towed.

DARLINGTON — On Tuesday, Aug. 13:
● A two-vehicle accident was reported at 8:32 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg. The Shullsburg Fire Department, Shullsburg EMS, Green County EMS of Darlington, deputies and Shullsburg police responded. Rebecca L. Davis, 41, Belvidere, Illinois, was northbound on County P in her 2000 Chrysler when she failed to stop at the stop sign with Wis. 11. She struck Dalton J. Foley, 28, Dubuque, Iowa, who was westbound on Wis. 11 in his 2012 Chevrolet. Foley reported minor injuries and was taken to a hospital. David declined EMS. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed. Davis was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
On Wednesday, Aug. 14:
● Herbert H. Stone, 55, Mineral Point, reported hitting a deer at 9:28 p.m. on Ballard Road, Town of Willow Springs. His 2019 GMC sustained minor damage.
● A hit-and-run accident was reported at 9:50 p.m. on South Main Street in Blanchardville.
On Thursday, Aug. 15:
● Shyntel L. Owen, 42, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 5:36 p.m. in the Town of Darlington. The 2013 Toyota Camry sustained minor damage.
On Saturday, Aug. 17:
● A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 6:04 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Lamont. As a result, Juan Pablo, 20, Darlington, was cited for failure to keep a vehicle under control and driving without a valid license or vehicle insurance. Darlington police assisted on scene.
On Tuesday, Aug. 20:
● No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 5:45 a.m. on Wis. 23 at Ivey Road, Town of Willow Springs. Mark M. Chambers, 56, Darlington, was northbound and slowing to turn onto Ivey Road when his vehicle was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by Cristian J. Anduno-Amador, 32, Darlington. Anduno-Amador’s 2003 Ford Mustang sustained severe damage and was towed. Chambers’ 2005 Chevrolet sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. Anduno-Amador was cited for inattentive driving and driving without a valid license and no vehicle insurance. The Mineral Point Fire Department and EMS assisted deputies on scene.
● Injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 11:54 a.m. in Belmont. Rosemary L. Hansen, 20, Ridgeway, was eastbound on East State Street when she failed to stop at the stop sign at Mound Avenue. Craig M. Burns, 44, Dubuque, was northbound on Mound Avenue and was hit by Hansen. Hansen’s 2016 Chevy and Burn’s 1999 Chevy both sustained moderate damage and were towed. The Belmont Fire Department and EMS assisted deputies on scene.
