Green County Sheriff

MONROE — On Thursday, Aug. 8:

●  No injuries were reported from a vehicle vs. tractor crash at 10:05 a.m. in the W7300 block of Wis. 39, Town of York. Cassandra L. Doescher, 32, Hollandale, was westbound and negotiating a curve in the road when she rear-ended a farm tractor driven by Ronald K. Erickson, 65, New Glarus. Her vehicle sustained functional damage. Erickson’s tractor sustained very minor damage. Both were driven from the scene.

●  David J. Steuri, 57, Monroe, sustained non-life threatening injuries in a motorcycle vs. deer crash at 7:02 p.m. in the N4000 block of Park Road, Town of Decatur. He was wearing a helmet and protective riding gear. He was taken by Brodhead EMS to the Monroe Clinic ER. The motorcycle sustained moderate damage and was removed from the scene. The deer was found deceased. The Brodhead Police and Fire Departments assisted on scene.

On Saturday, Aug. 10:

●  Philip M. Mason, 54, Bartlett, Illinois, was injured in a motorcycle vs. deer crash reported at 3:07 p.m. in the W9300 block of Puddledock Road, Town of Adams. He was eastbound when the deer crossed his path. He was wearing a helmet and protective riding gear. He was taken by Argyle EMS to the Monroe Clinic ER. The motorcycle sustained disabling damage and was removed. The deer was found deceased. The Argyle Fire Department assisted deputies on scene.

●  Kortney L. Burd, 37, Dubuque, Iowa, sustained non-life threatening injuries in a car vs. deer crash reported at 9:17 p.m. in the W6400 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe. The several occupants in the vehicle were uninjured. The vehicle sustained severe damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Saturday, Aug. 3:

●  Injuries were reported from an ATV accident at 4:11 p.m. on Valley Road, Town of Argyle. The driver was northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center line and entered the south ditch, hit a fence and came to rest hitting a tree. The 2016 Yamaha sustained severe damage and was towed. The Argyle Fire Department, Argyle EMS and Green County EMS assisted on scene. The driver’s identity was not released due to the accident remaining under investigation.

●  Dillon L. Larson, 24, Janesville, reported hitting a deer at 9:36 p.m. on County G, Town of Argyle. No injuries were reported. The 2015 Toyota sustained moderate damage.

On Sunday, Aug. 4:

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 2:30 a.m. in the Town of Shullsburg. Ethan J. H. Hunt, 16, Bloomington, was westbound on Dunbarton Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign, entered the west ditch on County A, hit a fence and came to rest against a tree. The 2006 Volkswagen sustained severe damage and was towed. Hunt was cited for failure to maintain control.
