MONROE — No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 7:03 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, in the 200 block of West Wisconsin Avenue in Monticello. Brock A. Westby-Hess, 23, Monticello, was backing from a driveway when his vehicle struck an eastbound vehicle driven by Gary R. Davidson, 73, Monticello. The vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene. Westby-Hess was cited for failure to yield right-of-way.
● A two-vehicle crash with injuries was reported at 3:01 p.m. in the Town of Monroe. Kaitlin M. Whiteaker, 22, was turning eastbound onto Wis. 81 from County J when she collided with an eastbound vehicle on Wis. 81 driven by Maria G. Garnica, 31, Darlington. A passenger in Garnica’s vehicle reported injuries and was transported by Green County EMS. Whiteaker and Garnica reported no injuries. The vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene. Whiteaker was cited for driving without a valid license and failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign.

DARLINGTON — On Sunday, July 28:
● Allen E. Ermey, 48, Juda, reported hitting a deer at 4:28 p.m. on County N, Town of Argyle. No injuries were reported. His 2006 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.
On Tuesday, July 30:
● A one-vehicle rollover was reported at 6:37 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota. The Wiota Fire Department, Wiota First Response and Argyle EMS responded. A deputy assisted on scene.
● Carol A. Barnard, 67, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 8:56 p.m. on County F, Town of Fayette. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained moderate damage.
● Dusty R. Weber, 29, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 11:03 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle. No injuries were reported. The 2006 GMC sustained moderate damage.
On Wednesday, July 31:
● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle rollover at 10:19 p.m. on County B, Town of Belmont. Kyle B. Bushman, 26, Platteville, lost control of his 2011 Chevrolet, causing the vehicle to enter the ditch and hit a power pole. The Chevrolet sustained severe damage and was towed. The Belmont Fire Department, Belmont EMS and UW-Platteville Campus Police assisted deputies.
On Thursday, Aug. 1:
● No injuries and moderate vehicle damage were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 2:36 p.m. on West Estey Street in Shullsburg. Daniel J. Schilling, 31, Dubuque, Iowa, backed his 2014 RAM into a 2013 Ford driven by Shirley A. Johnson, 59, Gratiot.
On Friday, Aug. 2:
● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 9:16 a.m. on County Z, Town of Darlington. The male juvenile driver lost control, went into the ditch and hit a fence. The 2001 Oldsmobile sustained severe damage. It was towed. The Darlington Fire Department, Green County EMS of Darlington and Darlington police assisted a deputy on scene.
On Saturday, Aug. 3:
● Cathy S. Hastings, 67, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer at 1:12 a.m. on County W, Town of New Diggings. No injuries were reported. Her vehicle sustained severe damage. It was towed.
